Graphic Designer

Deb Quinton, a graphic designer, was raised by penguins following a childhood boating accident. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Masters Degree as a Dental Hygienist. After years of practice in the dental field, Deb had the itch to be creative so she pioneered her efforts in the art of scrimshaw (elaborate carvings in the form of pictures on the surface of the bone or tooth) on patients to where she learned that not all designs can be reduced to black and white. Since patients were not altogether enthralled about her handiwork on their incisors, Deb decided to change tactics. Thereafter, she worked for several years as a designer for various ad agencies in Maryland, where she frequents many bars in the Fells Point area. She enjoys swimming and fishing, despite the painful memories.
